On Sunday 6th November 2005, Beaver Scouts throughout Maidenhead District merged on Boyn Hill/Altwood Scout HQ on Sunday morning to join in the District Beaver Scout Craft Competition. The classes of entry were divided between six year old's and seven year old's. Beaver Scouts were able to enter two items in the competition and could choose from a variety of activities which included hats, puppets, collages, junk craft, printing and design. There was also a category for colonies to enter where every member could take part. This year the task was to build a model village.
The winning colony was 21st(Mon) Maidenhead who meet at Cox Green.
